Why Are Dogs Not Allowed In Shops
Although it may seem cruel to not allow our furry friends at shops, there are actually a good number of reasons why they can’t accompany us. Dogs are one of the top three causes of allergic reactions in humans and even if they remain outside the store, dander and fur that do make it inside can still cause an allergic reaction.
Store security also has to be taken into account: dogs sometimes bark or otherwise act unpredictably in unfamiliar environments and this can cause distraction or even panic among customers. In addition to safety and allergenic issues, allowing some shoppers to bring their pets into the store could create an unlevel playing field for people without pets who could feasibly ask for pet privileges too.
Despite a pet’s cuteness, it is ultimately safer for everyone – customers and pets included – if Target keeps its “no dogs” policy firmly in place.
In Conclusion
Almost all famous stores do not allow regular pets for safety reasons. Usually, pets are unpredictable when entering new spaces, and having a few nervous pets in a store is not a good thing. However, the stores will allow Service Dogs.
