This story covers both the depths of human cruelty and the heights of human compassion. It all started when some caring people were doing a routine chore: taking the trash to the dumpster.
But, this wasn’t any ordinary trash run. They heard some pitiful tiny whimpers and cries from inside that dumpster. Quickly, they took action and started hunting down the source of the noise. Soon, they found it: a red trash bag, full of various rubbish…until they dug a bit deeper.
Inside was a tiny shivering puppy. So small that its eyes weren’t even open yet. While they were absolutely horrified that someone could do such a thing, they knew that the most important thing right then was helping this tiny creature.

The rescuers immediately got everything the puppy needed: A milk formulated just for puppies, plenty of warm spots to sleep, and an endless amount of attention and love.
The poor puppy was utterly exhausted from his long battle to escape the bag he was so cruelly stuck in. In the early days after his rescue, the tiny pup mainly rested, ate, and then rested some more. The puppy was so tiny that his rescuers had to feed him with a syringe, and then a bottle.

With such good nutrition and loving attention, the puppy started to grow quickly and leave his tragic past behind.
The pup’s rescuers also took him to the vet to get vaccinations and find out if he was healthy or needed any type of treatment. They were very relieved to hear that their new puppy was in excellent health — all they needed to do was to keep up the special care and attentive love, and he would grow up to be a strong and healthy dog with a long life in front of him.
As the dog grew and adapted to his new home (by now his rescuers decided that they could never let him go!), he became fascinated with the family cats – his rescuers think that the puppy might have thought the cats were his parents, in fact.
Fortunately, the cats took the new addition in stride, soon treating him like one of their own. They loved to play, act silly, and lounge around together.

This formerly mistreated and abandoned dog quickly started to thrive. He was treated like a prince, with an extensive wardrobe, many adventures with his new family, and all the love that he was denied before. The puppy always looked like he was smiling, as if he knew what a fortunate dog he was.

Today, you might see this sweet puppy on his frequent walks with his parents, or on shopping adventures. He’s now a self-confident pup, one who is full of spirit and joy.

Dogs are incredibly resilient, and this sweet puppy’s rescue video is one of the best examples of that we’ve ever seen. He hasn’t let his past hold him back! His rescuers-turned-adopters feel that it was one of the luckiest days of their lives when they went to drop off trash that day. It was meant to be!
